As you may know, textures and colors of cinder blocks vary. This particular block texture is called Burnish. It is polished smoothly by manufacturers and can almost glisten in the sun.

The home owner wanted a burnished freestanding wall on one side of his property but did not want us to cut his new pavers and install it close to it so this explains the small gap at the bottom of the wall.
